Stoneware Presentation Churn
Small semi-ovoid stoneware churn originating from Western, PA or Ohio circa 1860. Given it's size and decoration with initials and inverted hearts, it was was most likely made as a presentation piece. On one side there are the initials SWC underscored by an inverted heart. On the opposite side there is an incised number four with two conjoined inverted hearts. The rim is heavily cobalt brushed and the handles are sponged with spots. There has been a professional repair to several small 1/4" chips on the rim and base. Height - 7".

Remmey Water Cooler
Rare large ten gallon water cooler attributed to the Richard C. Remmey factory of Philadelphia, PA. This imposing piece is decorated on both the front and back with brushed cobalt tulips and what I would call wisteria blooms. Note the tooling ribs above the shoulder and the "hand impressed 10". It is in excellent original condition with no repairs. I have seen allot of Remmey water coolers over the years but never one this large. Circa 1850. Height - 20 1/2", Width - 15 1/2".

Painted Firkin
Mid to late 19th century sugar bucket or firkin retaining it's original apple green painted surface. The staves are solid and tight. The pointed bands and handle are in perfect condition, maintained by the original copper tacks. There is some minor paint wear on the handle and lid commensurate with age and handling. Baltimore Stoneware Pitcher
Rare large three gallon stoneware pitcher attributed to the Parr Factory of Baltimore, Maryland. Impressive bold cobalt tulip and swag decoration around the entire pitcher with an impressed 3 on the side. Also boldly decorated around the termination points of the handle. Circa 1850. There has been a repair to a chip on the side of the base and there is a minor in the making rough spot on the rim near the handle. Height - 14".

Berks County Bi-Centennial Quilt
Appliqué quilt made in 1945 for the Reading, PA bi-centennial celebration. Trailing vine and bellflower border with distilfinks, potted flowers and hearts on the primary field. The colors on this piece are extremely crisp and the stitching is excellent. The field is stain-free with only minor staining on the reverse edges in four spots. 100" x 96".

Central Pennsylvania two part pine corner cupboard with an ogee cornice and a glazed twelve lite door over a base with raised panel doors, a nicely scalloped apron and bold bracket feet.
