Old Saybrook Wildfowler Widgeons
Fantastic and rare pair of Old Saybrook Wildfowler widgeons in original untouched surface. Dating to the late 1930's, they were made for and used by the Orville Reed Right Gun Club of Back Bay, Virginia. Each of the birds are branded ORR on their backs and bottoms. They are pitchered on page 106 of Henry A. Fleckenstein's book American Factory Decoys. Length - 13 1/2".

Large redware jar with fabulous polychrome glaze made by Arthur Ray Cole (1892-1974) in his Rainbow Pottery in Sanford, North Carolina. A. R. founded the Rainbow Pottery in 1941. This piece dates to the mid 1940's and has the signature Cole three twisted rope handles. This wonderful piece of North Carolina folk pottery is in excellent original condition with no repairs.
