Nicely carved rattlesnake made out of walnut and signed on the base W. (Wam) Hollingsworth, 1971. Inscribed "Diamonds in the rough". Mr. Hollingsworth was a member of the Cherokee Cattaraugus Indian Reservation of Seneca, NY. Width - 13".

Carved Swan

Gracefully carved hollow body swan with original scratch coat painted surface. It dates to the mid twentieth century and is signed Bowden on the bottom. Minor shrinkage cracks and paint wear. Length - 25", Height - 21".

Redware cat with excellent polychrome glaze made by the Stahl Pottery in Powder valley, PA. This is the only Stahl animal figure I have ever seen with this variation of color in the glaze. It is signed on the bottom "Made by R.R. Stahl 11/20/51" Height - 4".

Native American Elm Burl Bowl

Large Native American elm burl bowl from the Eastern Great Lakes region, possibly made by the Ojibwa tribe. The bowl dates to the 1720-1750 period and exhibits a wonderful flared form and a surface that speaks to it's age. This rare Native American piece is in pristine overall condition.
