Medinger Redware Pitcher

Redware water or milk pitcher made by Jacob Medinger of Limerick Township, Montgomery County, PA circa 1920. The Medinger Pottery was founded by Jacob's father William in 1872 and remained operational until Jacob's kiln related death in 1932. Exceptional form and glaze with the signature Medinger ribbed handle and coggled rim, neck and shoulder. A really good and somewhat rare example of Medinger pottery. Height - 11 1/2".
