One gallon stoneware water pitcher attributed to the Richard C. Remmey factory of Philadelphia, PA. Excellent contrast between the crisp dark blue slip and the light gray clay. There has been a professional repair to a 3/4" chip on the base rim. Otherwise, the condition is exceptional. Circa 1880. Height - 10".
