Rare sgraffito leaping stag plate made by Isaac Stahl of the Stahl Pottery in Powder Valley, PA. The plate is bordered with a PA German script along with trailing vines. It is dated July 20, 1936 which is only two years after Isaac and Thomas Stahl reopened the pottery started by their father Charles Stahl in the late 19th century. This piece is in excellent original condition and would be a great addition to any Stahl Pottery collection. Diameter - 10".
