Mid 19th century Shaker sieve made of maple in original red lipstick paint with a finely woven reed strainer. This piece is in a wonderful state of preservation with no losses to the circular maple painted frame or the woven strainer. It was found in Lowell, Massachusetts but most likely is of New Hampshire origin.
