Excellent early pair of miniature mergansers made in the style of Lothrop Holmes by Reggie Birch of Chincoteaque, Virginia. Well proportioned with relief carved raised wings, turned heads with glass eyes and original polychrome painted surface. Both birds are in mint condition and signed on the underside. Length - 7 inches.
