New Geneva PA Tanware Pitcher

Beautiful slip decorated New Geneva, PA tanware milk pitcher. There are no condition issues with this wonderful example other than two 1/4" minor rough areas on the left side of the rim. The brown slip decoration is wonderful with four fuscias, trailing vines and folky stripes on the handle. This is the only New Geneva tanware piece I have ever seen with four fuscias in the decoration. Circa 1890. Height - 8". Photo 436.
