Early John Holloway, West Creek, NJ, carved crow tree. Five of the crows are presented on a sassafras branch with a sixth crow perched on the side of the polychrome painted base. The tree is signed JRH on the bottom of the base. This is quite possibly the first bird tree he ever made as evidenced by this form of base, with a crow attached to it, not appearing on any of his other trees. Height - 21 inches.
