Fine bird tree made by master carver John Holloway from West Creek, NJ. Eleven carved and polychrome painted birds, all with glass eyes, presented on a sassafras branch on a turned paint-decorated base. This is one of only two of his trees trees known with eleven birds as most had six or eight birds. Signed JRH on the base. Height - 26 inches.
