Ellinger (American 1913-2003) watercolor on parchment paper of a colorful peacock in repose on a checkered base with tiny polka dots. Brightly colored tulips and mums surround the central peacock figure. This beautiful work dates to his early period (the late 1960"s) and is presented in it's original paint decorated frame and is signed "D. Ellinger" below the base.
