Miniature Highback Drysink

Fantastic late 19th century child's highback drysink in original chrome yellow painted surface. Two doors over two drawers with original hardware. Note the cutouts on the front and sides, and the wonderful scalloped skirt on the cupboard top section. A piece of the cornice molding was broken off and reattached - an old repair. Height - 24", Width - 11", Depth - 8".

Carved Love Token

Wonderful Berks County, PA carved "love token" with heart and pinwheel motifs in original black painted surface. Note the letter "C" carved in the middle - probably the first letter of the recipient's name. Circa 1820. This piece would be an excellent addition to any folk art collection. It is fresh to the market as it has been in a private collection for the last thirty years. Height - 8", Width - 7 1/2".

1 1/2 gallon stoneware jug by Daniel Shenfelder of Reading, PA with good stamps. Early ovoid form with the signature Shenfelder drooping flower and vine blue decoration in mint condition. Height - 14 1/2".

PA Coverlet

Signed Lebanon County, Pennsylvania coverlet made by Joseph Smith of Millerstown. Dated 1840. Colors of red, green and navy blue on a white background are very crisp. Floral design with diamonds around the perimeter. Very minor fringe loss. No stains or discoloration. 94" X 72".

18 Drawer Spice Box

18 drawer spice box found in Lehigh County, PA with original vinegar grain paint decoration and hardware. Each drawer has square nail construction with two dividers that create three individual sections. There are minor loses to grain painted surface. This piece has an excellent primitive appearance and would make a nice addition to a country farmhouse kitchen. Height - 12 1/2", Width - 12", Depth - 10 1/2".

Redware vase by Jacob Medinger of Limerick Township, Montgomery County, PA with semi-bulbous form, footed base and applied ribbed handles. Coggle wheel decoration under the rim and on the shoulders. Excellent glaze with manganese splotching. Height - 11".

Redware pitcher made by Jacob Medinger of Limerick Township, Montgomery County, PA. Circa 1890-1910. This piece exhibits Medinger's signature coggle wheel decoration on the upper and lower shoulder, ribbed handle with thumb print and a footed base. The glaze is a dark reddish brown. Height 7".

Hand drawn watercolor Birth Certificate for Maria Moyer by Issac Erb. Dated November 24, 1832. Probably Lancaster County. Red and yellow primary colors with two facing birds on a branch and a scalloped drape border. Period mahogany veneered frame.

Shenfelder 2 Gallon Crock

D.P. Shenfelder Reading, PA 2 gallon crock with distinctive blue floral decoration and three incised lines under the ears. Stamped Shenfelder with a 2 on the rear of the crock which is a quite rare location for his stamp. Small chip to left ear handle and a 4" hairline crack on the back of the crock. Height - 11".

Pennsylvania Work Table

Pine and tiger maple two drawer work table in original "black finish" signed Haines, Harrisburg on underside of bottom drawer. Wonderful form as evidenced by star walnut inlay on the single board top, tiger maple scalloped skirts on all four sides, stacked coin turnings on gently splayed legs and tiger maple molding surrounding the top. Original brass drawer pulls. A great piece of regional Pennsylvania Americana. Circa 1840. Height - 29".
